Agents are already buying for users

AI-referred retail traffic grew 393% in a year. Block agents and you lose the sale. Let them in as strangers and you can't tell a VIP from a first-time buyer.

A known customer

You know who they are and what they've earned.

Their agent is a stranger

An agent acting for them arrives unverified, and unknown again.

Solved with delegated identity

With AIR, the agent proves who it's acting for, so each order becomes a sale you can personalise.
Agent session with AIR: acting for a verified user, identity and tier checked, treated as a known customer
How it works

From an unknown agent
to a loyal customer you can trust

The user shares their identity with their agent

They pick what it can show, like their VIP tier, and set limits: this store, 24 hours, up to $500.

The user shares proof of age and membership tier with their agent through AIR

The agent proves it at your checkout

You get a verified “VIP: yes”, without their name, email or other personal details.

Koff optical asks to confirm membership for a discount, the customer shares membership proof and AIR confirms it

You treat them as a known customer

Apply their member price and preferences, just as if they had signed in themselves.

The agent Fern, acting for a VIP member, has placed an order for burgundy cat-eye glasses with the VIP discount applied

Why AIR Agent

The data already exists

Banks, telcos and retailers already issue it. Only the agent's permission is new.

Works with any agent

One layer across agents and platforms, not tied to one assistant.

Users own their data

You receive consented proofs, not personal data to store.

Already at scale

Built into networks with hundreds of millions of users.

FAQs

Do I need AIR Identity?
Yes. Your user's credentials sit in their AIR Account, and AIR Agent lets their agents use them.
Does this replace Visa TAP, Cloudflare signed agents or Google AP2?
No. They check that an agent is allowed in. AIR does that too, and tells you which user it's acting for and what it's allowed to do.
What does my business receive?
Only what's in the permission the user signed, for example 18+ and VIP, and nothing beyond that. You get consented proofs, not raw personal data.
Does it work with any agent?
Yes. AIR is one identity layer across agents and platforms, built on open standards, so it isn't tied to one assistant.
Where does the user's data come from?
From the businesses that already verify it, such as banks, telcos, KYC providers and loyalty programmes. The user holds it and chooses what their agent can share.
Can the user take the agent's access back?
Yes, immediately.
Which standards does it use?
W3C Verifiable Credentials and DIDs, OpenID4VC and SD-JWT VC. eIDAS 2.0 is on the path.
Is this compliant with privacy laws?
The architecture is privacy-first by design, but you will need to seek your own independent advice to ensure that your use of AIR Agent complies with the data protection laws and regulations which are applicable to you.
FAQs

Common questions

How do I know which path is right for me?
If you have user data others would pay to confirm (membership tier, achievements, KYC status), start with "Monetize Your Data." If you need to confirm things about users but don't want to collect the underlying raw data, start with "Trust Without Liability." Many businesses do both
How do I make money from my data?
You set your own pricing for credentials. When another business confirms one of your credentials, they pay you. You're monetizing data you already have — without sharing any of the raw information.
What is a credential?
A credential is a digital proof of a fact about a user — like "passed KYC" or "is over 18" or "is a Gold member." It's created by one business, owned by the user, and can be confirmed (subject to user consent) by other businesses without sharing the underlying data.
What can I create credentials for?
Anything you can verify. Examples by industry:
Gaming:
achievements, ranks, playtime, ownership
Loyalty:
membership tiers, points balance, VIP status
HR:
employment status, tenure, certifications
Events:
ticket ownership, fan club membership, access passes
Social:
follower count, engagement, verification status
Finance:
KYC status, accreditation, income thresholds
How much does it cost to confirm credentials?
Fees are set by whoever created the credential. Typically far less than running full KYC, and you skip the data storage and compliance overhead.
Is AIR Identity only for KYC?
No. KYC is one use case. Credentials work for anything verifiable: loyalty tiers, gaming achievements, employment status, event access, and social proof. Any fact you can verify can become a credential
What are zero-knowledge proofs, and why do they matter?
Zero-knowledge proofs (ZK proofs) let you confirm a fact without revealing the data behind it. For example, you can prove someone is over 18 without sharing their birthdate. For businesses, this means verifying users without ever holding raw data: lower breach risk, reduced GDPR exposure, and stronger trust with privacy-conscious users.
How long does integration take?
Most partners go live within days. The SDK is modular: start with one capability and expand later.
