zkMe Joins Moca Chain as Issuer for Demographic and Financial Credentials

July 2, 2025

Moca Network is excited to welcome zkMe as a new Issuer on Moca Chain. With over 1.5 million users and a strong track record in zero-knowledge identity verification, zkMe now serves as the ecosystem's go-to partner for demographic and financial credentials.

This partnership brings zkMe's credentials into the Moca ecosystem, enabling seamless, privacy-preserving verification for over 1.5 million zkMe users across any app or chain, while ensuring users maintain full control of their data at every step.

Credential issuance and interoperability via AIR Kit

As an Issuer on Moca Chain, zkMe will adopt AIR Kit, Moca Network's modular identity toolkit, to issue credentials that are encrypted, reusable, and verifiable across any app or chain. With AIR Kit, zkMe can issue verifiable credentials including age, citizenship, location, credit score, and investor accreditation.

As identities on Moca Chain are self-sovereign and privacy-preserved, users retain full ownership over their credentials. These credentials are stored using a decentralized data infrastructure and can be verified through zero-knowledge proofs, ensuring that no raw data is exposed during issuance or verification.

As part of the integration, zkMe will also adopt AIR Account, the universal account resolution layer within AIR Kit. This enables zkMe to consolidate multiple wallets and identifiers into a single, privacy-preserving identity, making its zkKYC credentials interoperable across various chains, applications, and environments.

zkMe as a Verifier

While zkMe's primary role is as an Issuer, it may also act as a Verifier within the Moca ecosystem when specific data points are needed to validate user eligibility. For example, zkMe may verify whether a user meets jurisdictional, age-based, or accreditation requirements for gated services or campaigns.

In these cases, zkMe can validate credentials using AIR Kit without accessing or exposing any raw user data. This preserves end-user privacy while enabling trustless verification of facts across on-chain and off-chain environments.

A shared commitment to user-owned identity

Moca Network is building the world's largest chain-agnostic decentralized identity network, with infrastructure for reputation, verification for access and rewards, and interoperability across industries and ecosystems. zkMe aligns with Moca's core belief: users should have full control over their identity, deciding when and where it's used.

Together, we are creating a privacy-first ecosystem for verifiable identity that works across the open internet.

Coming soon: Multiverse Campaign with zkMe

To celebrate this partnership, Moca Network joins zkMe in launching the Multiverse Campaign, an initiative to spotlight how verifiable credentials and decentralized identity are driving the next wave of Web3 applications.

As the partnership expands across the Moca ecosystem, we look forward to sharing more use cases, integrations, and activations in the coming days.
